John Perine
John Perine, CPM, HCCP

John Perine is a 18-year veteran of the real estate industry and President of Aspen Property Management. He has managed a diverse portfolio of properties including market rate, tax credit, rural development and other government subsidized apartments, downtown Indianapolis office buildings, self storage, industrial buildings, homeowner associations (HOA) and retail centers.

Previous to Aspen, John was Vice President of Property Management for a large midwestern real estate development and property management firm overseeing more than 70 properties in six states including 50 apartment communities (over 4000 units), 20 self storage properties (over 1,000,000 square feet), office, retail and HOA properties.

John received his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in 2007. He also obtained the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation in 2000 from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

John has served on the board of the Indianapolis Chapter #24 of The Institute of Real Estate Management as president, President Elect, Vice President and Community Caring Chairperson. In 2007, he received the CPM of the year award from IREM for his work as Community Caring Chairperson. John has been on the board of the Apartment Association of Indiana (2007- 2008) and on the board of the Ball State Residential Management Program (2007-2008). John is a real estate broker and has been a licensed real estate agent and member of MIBOR since 1997. He received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 1990.

William Schmadeke
William Schmadeke II, CPM Candidate

William Schmadeke II is a 19-year veteran of the real estate industry and Vice President of Aspen Property Management. He has managed a diverse portfolio of properties in his career including office buildings, retail centers, apartments, industrial buildings, self storage facilities and homeowners associations (HOA),

Previous to Aspen, William was President of Schmadeke Company overseeing the residential and commercial development and management divisions of the company that had been formed in 1965. William managed all aspects of business operations including revenue and expense management, marketing, site selection and contract negotiation for commercial and residential developments. William is currently a Certified Property Manager (CPM) candidate through the Institute of Real Estate Management and a licensed Real Estate Agent of the State of Indiana.

He received a bachelor’s degree in general business administration at Indiana University in 1995.
